Neil Cameron Associates Ltd was established in 2003, by Neil Cameron, having spent over 34 years in the Electricity Supply Industry working for the CEGB/National Grid Company, on systems up to 400KV.

We are passionate about Testing and Commissioning to the very highest standard, with meticulous attention to detail working in an innate methodical manner. We carry out additional test methods ensuring each and every Sub Station has been rigorously tested with integrity. We pride ourselves on identifying requirements particularly when Codes of Practice change, thereby, exceeding expectations of our clients.
With well over 1700 projects completed nationwide we are able to share our extensive experience with all our clients, whether new to the industry or firmly established.

SERVICES
Pre-commissioning of Sub Stations is a vital part of the process prior to energisation. Our extensive testing procedures are carried out with fully calibrated, state of the art testing equipment. The NCA comprehensive report authenticating our work is forwarded onto the client without delay.

HV AC Power Frequency Pressure tests on Switchgear & Transformers up to 11Kv System Voltage

HV DC Pressure tests on Switchgear & Transformers up to 11Kv System Voltage
HV VLF & DC Pressure tests on cables up to 33Kv (System Voltage) – Pressure tests are up to 33Kv DC or AC VLF as required by Customer/DNO
Primary Injection tests to prove integrity of Plant and Protective components, relays and systems. (Not System Voltage Specific)
Unit Protection Testing including Solkor and Translay
Ductor Testing
Full Scheme Functionality Testing
G99/G59 protection
MAINTENANCE
Neil Cameron Associates also provides maintenance of protective relays and systems in line with the asset owners requirements.
Routine maintenance is vital to ensure the protective relays and systems continue to perform in line with manufacturers specification i.e have the sensitivity and stability to operate only under the required fault conditions at the applied settings.
